Stone mushroom |
Saturday mornings are my time for strolling into town to shop for my weekly veggies at the friendly bio store called "Natur Paradeis". Along the way I enjoy peeking into yards to see how gardeners are handling their gardens and to discover new yard art/yard ornaments. This stone mushroom caught my eye this weekend.
I have enjoyed my walks into town, especially because they take me alongside the Loisach River. The path is sprinkled with benches for pausing to listen to the sound of the river, viewing the mountains, and eating ice cream (vegan, of course) on the way home.
There are several covered bridges that span the river and multiple waste containers to deposit trash and pet droppings (using baggies provided by the town).
After our first snowfall about a week and a half ago, we were blessed with wonderful "Indian Summer" weather. This year in particular the autumn colors have been bright and plentiful. I've captured snapshots of some here.
These were taken from work at the end of the day.

Altogether a wonderful October 2013 in GAP.
