Innsbruck, Austria Part One

Lovely Innsbruck, Austria
(too bad about the lamp post...)

CG and I drove down to visit today. It was a lovely, sunny
day. Innsbruck is less than 40 miles from us. Located in
a deep valley. The drive was pretty spectacular.

This is a lovely blue and white building.

But wait. There is something odd going on next door....

It looks like someone is trying to hide ......

or escape!

Not sure how well you can see the designs on this building.

I would love to live on the second or third floor, wouldn't you? Lovely in pink and white.
Emily, you could decorate the entire apartment like your dream house.
Very feminine.

This is one of the wider streets in
the old town area.

As you can see, there
are plenty of places to eat and engage in the sport of people watching.

The "golden roof" is really lots of small copper tiles covered in gold. The roof is over the balcony where the Emperor would stand to view parades as they wound their way along that wide street you saw above. ~M
