Another cloudy, cool, rainy summer weekend

That's the view from around our house: cloudy and wet. The mountains come in and out of view and sometimes a little bit of sunshine breaks through for just a little bit. I'm very glad to have big, bit windows to look outside; even though it's grey and dreary the windows let a lot of light indoors. So, it's perfect for perking up a cup of tea/coffee/cappuccino, wrapping up with a shawl/hand knit coverlet (courtesy of Emily) and working my way through the stack of books waiting beside my reading chair. I'm thankful that it's not hot and humid like I hear it is in the States right now. ~M
